Our system configurations range from a web based order status reporting system to more complex order placement, scheduling, tracking and reporting systems. Our IntraNet Sales Management System Features Include: - System Architecture:
- Our system builds on your existing infrastructure and interfaces with your existing internal systems. There is no re-development and the existing investment in MIS remains intact with only an incremental cost for the e-commerce intranet services.
- Return On Investment:
- TactiCom clients who have provided sales status, reports and tracking via telephone support operators see an immediate cost reduction as telephone support is no longer required. Payback is dependant on volume of callers and typically ranges from 60 days to twelve months.
- There is an immediate increase in communication with sales personnel, as they can get order status information and run reports "on-demand", 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Typically, our clients make sales support information such as brochures, newsletters, product announcements, price lists, et cetera, through their Intranet interface.
- Sales forces become more effective because they have now been "empowered" with information.
- Large corporate accounts have direct access to their account information and can check on their orders directly. We find that our clients' vendors prefer this level of access and interaction and our clients get moved up on the "preferred vendor list".
- Access:
- Authorized sales representatives, agents and internal personnel can access the system 24 hours a day, seven days a week using a standard web browser and Internet connection. The system has an intuitive, menu driven interface that requires minimal training to operate. The system only requires basic web browsing knowledge to operate.
- Order Tracking:
- Sales agents will be able to track status of an order internally by selecting the corresponding order. Order shipping status screens display shipping details along with tracking details from the shipping company used.
- Customer Data:
- Sales agents can display customer A/R data. The system displays a list of orders. Sales agent can sort orders by date, invoice number, cost and other headings by simply selecting a column title. For example, to sort by company name, the sales agent would select the company name heading; to sort by ship date, the agent would select the date heading.
- Display Order:
- following is an example of what system is typically set up to display.
-
Salesperson ID | Order Number | Order Date | Customer Account | Item Number | Item Quantity | Item Description | Qty Shipped | Qty Backordered | Price | Discount | Extended Price | - Viewing Order Off-line:
- User can select "Send Order Details" option on View Order Details that generates and sends a report to the user via e-mail. This file can be opened in a word processor, spreadsheet or database by user for further analysis.
- User Configuration Options:
- Ability for users to configure their screens and all reports. Users can choose which items and columns appear on both the order index and invoice screens, as well as what data is listed and the order in which it is listed on the reports. Users have the ability to specify paper size, print size of text, etc. Multiple configurations may be stored for future use.
- It has the ability for users to configure the system so that it remembers their last screen & report configuration.
- User can choose their viewing capabilities (size & resolution of screen) and print capabilities by running an intuitive configuration utility. Upon configuration, the system optimizes all reports and screens based on the user's configuration.
- Security:
- Representatives will only be able to view orders assigned to them. All access require authentification and are logged for viewing by internal authorized personnel. The system administrator can generate reports showing all activity for any given time period by any user. The system has many security options including VPN access, SSL access, and more.
- Hosting:
- All systems hosted by TactiCom are monitored and staffed 24/7. TactiCom's application monitor simulates web user ensuring that all components are functioning correctly. Our monitoring systems automatically notify administrators and support personnel of problems via phone, e-mail and pager if a problem is found. All systems are hosted on redundant high bandwidth Internet connections, ensuring that multiple users can access your system site concurrently using high speed lines such as T1's, DSL and cable modems without performance degradation.
